Yes, we use for the majority Qualatex balloons. Their latex balloons are earth friendly and 100% biodegradable. They biodegrade at the same rate as an oak leaf in your backyard. The latex balloons are made of natural materials-not plastic. The latex comes from rubber trees in the rain forests. It is collected by cutting the tree’s bark, then catching the latex in a cup. Latex harvesting does not hurt the trees. It actually discourages deforestation because the latex-producing trees are left intact. A tree can produce latex for up to 40 years. Please visit www.qualatex.com for more information. Now, from time to time our customers request certain balloons and/or color(s) that Qualatex does not have in stock or carry. We use our best judgement to get compatible balloons. Foil (Mylar) however are not biodegradable but can be recycled. Feel free to bring back your foil (mylar) balloons purchased from All Tied Up Balloons and we’ll gladly recycle them for you. There are several programs that will take them.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact us. We’re only human and balloons aren’t always guaranteed.
It is called oxidation. No matter what brand balloons you use or if you use HiFloat/shine, it’ll happen. It develops on latex balloons that have been left out for a few minutes to hours or even days due to humidity and the quality of the ambient air/heat. It is not harmful. It’s basically the balloon color dulling and the biodegradable process. All Tied Up Balloon uses HiFloat/shine with all their balloons to slow this process.
Add an answer to this item. Our answer… It depends. Air filled balloons can last weeks indoor. The longevity of your balloons will depend on the environmental conditions of the space. Outdoor balloons are not guaranteed to last any specific amount of time. The elements: sun, heat, wind, rain etc. affects the lifespan of the balloons. Never leave balloons in your car. Hot temps can cause the balloons to expand and pop. Helium balloons will float for at least 3 days indoor but can last longer. Cold temps and rain can cause foils/mylar balloons to deflate but generally reinflates when taken indoors.
